Railroad Commission of TX Proposed Rules
At its open meeting on August 7, 2012, the Commission adopted seven rulemakings, including: (1) amendments to §§3.1 and 3.78 concerning casing cementing operations and P-5 requirements; and (2) four new and two amended penalty guideline rules in Chapters 3, 8, 9, 13, 14, and 18. The adopted rules will be published in the Friday, August 24, 2012, issue of the Texas Register, and they all will have an effective date of August 27, 2012.

At its open meeting on March 26, 2013, the Railroad Commission adopted some amendments to §3.8. The adoptions will be published in the Friday, April 12, 2013, issue of the Texas Register. The effective date will be April 15, 2013.

At its open meeting on May 24, 2013, the Railroad Commission adopted some amendments to §§3.13, 3.99, and 3.100, regarding casing and other requirements. The adoption will be published in the Friday, June 7, 2013, issue of the Texas Register. Statewide Rule 13 was adopted effective January 1, 2014.
